Welcome to the Atherstone Natural History Society Website.
2012 was the 40th anniversary of the club forming and we celebrated with a few special events One of which was the Talk by Mark Hamblin that was excellent. As we move into our new season there are still some good things to hear not least this years special meeting - a talk by Mark Sissons.
To view the list of events go to the Meeting Information page and the Report for any trips will be on the blog pages.
The Society presents the opportunity for individuals and families, novice or expert to meet other people with similar interests in a wide range of natural history subjects. The indoor meetings usually provide an illustrated talk by specialists in connection with natural history.
These are held on the third Wednesday of each month from September to May and take place in Trinity Church which is on Coleshill Road, Atherstone commencing at 7.30 p.m.
Field meetings are held throughout the year including local walks on Wednesday evenings from May to July.
Subscriptions are currently £10 per annum. Visitors will be charged £2 per meeting.
If you have any questions please leave a message on the feedback form and someone will get back to you shortly.
Also, we now have a Facebook page for those of you who are as sad as me :)
